Montoya started from the 7th position and finally he was the 6th. It was very interesting race!

"The driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet, Montoya, started the first race in the seventh position. He started the race dropping as-far back as 22nd before finding an ever important drafting partner in the No. 4 Toyota. The two worked together for the majority of the 60-lap race with Montoya pushing Kahne to the front on several occasions. As the No.42 Target car neared its pit window crew chief Brian Pattie opted to be one of the first ones down pit road on lap 35 for fuel only, with drafting partner Kahne following suit. Running in the top-five for the majority of the remaining laps a yellow flag waved on lap 56, setting the stage for a green-white-checkered finish as Montoya’s Target Chevrolet ran second.  As the field restarted Montoya and Kahne could not withstand the four-car breakaway led by eventual winner Kurt Busch and second-place finisher David Ragan. Montoya and the No.42 Target Chevrolet crossed the line in the sixth position."
